Los Mezquites

 

Los Mezquites is a sustainable family farm dedicated to the sharing of traditional rural Mexican traditions and customs with its guests.  We are committed to the support of the local community through the purchase of local products when possible and the hiring of local guides and workshop leaders.  We hope to do our part to preserve the beauty of Urique for generations to come while providing local residents with viable work throughout the year.

 

Los Mezquites is co-owned by Chiro and Lola Ramirez and their three children, Diana, Lupita and Alejandro.  Chiro and Lola have extensive experience working with non-Spanish speaking guests, even though they speak only limited English.  Their son, Alejandro, lives in the United States with his family and can help coordinate services when needed for guests who are not Spanish speakers.
